As Cusic's voice sailed hot funnel cakes barbecue pork sandwiches and fried macaroni and cheese with ham on a stick were served on paper plates and sheets of aluminum foil. The Dutchman was not the only out-of-towner. Blues music lovers from Norway Texas Louisiana Kentucky Tennessee and many other spots on the map came to catch the Delta blues acts. These musicians began performing in Greenville Thursday at the Walnut Street Block Party and some of them will perform today at the Holly Ridge Store Jam as the weekend of blues concludes. Many of the musicians are getting up in age. B King who performed in Indianola Friday is 83 and James “T-Model” Ford who played Saturday after Cusic's session will reach 89 in a few weeks.
