“The spirit of the music. It tells you a lot about yourself so I kind of like that” said Shawn Nordstrom a Johnson City resident. “Everything comes from the blues in American music. So that permeates all the music that we hear today. We played the Elvis song and Eric Clapton and everything else so it’s a base of foundation of everything that comes from that so that’s the spirit of the blues” said Brian Wahl a Ring of Fire band member. And judging from those happy faces it looks like that spirit caught on.
