Cross Tie Walker an area band from Wynnewood will be the opening act of the first concert. They will be followed by the headline band The JuJu Beans a rockabilly group from klahoma City. The Ju Ju Beans play rockin’ rhythm and blues music that can only be described as traditional rock ‘n roll with a rockabilly twist. They take songs from many of the blues and country and western greats such as Muddy Waters John Lee Hooker Bo Diddley Chuck Berry Hank Williams Elmore James Johnny Cash Willie Dixon and many others. The Ju Ju Beans play these songs minus any of the pedantic or lifeless connotations of the copier or imitator while adding possibly even more verve and spirit than the originals. With the Ju Ju Beans attitude is the key. That attitude transforms itself into totally unpretentious thoroughly energizing immensely satisfying shows that will keep you dancin’ til dawn.
